Putting this in news because all US dialysis patients have the right to be classified as disabled by Social Security Administration.

Transplant July 2017 from out of state deceased donor, waited three weeks the creatine to fall into expected range, dialysis December 2013 - July 2017.

His preference for "best interest" over "known wishes" is disturbing.  It must be the ultimate nightmare of everyone with a disability, particularly a mental or intellectual disability, to have your "known wishes" be summarily dismissed.
