I checked his website (there's a link in his sig) and there's a memorial page to him.

Rest in peace, Jamie.

:o Damn, I didn't even notice he had not posted for a while (almost a week) His last post was 12/31/05 and he died the next day on the first 01/01/06. It makes me sad because I am only a year older than him and because we were just getting to know him.

The above is a link to his website.

Well Jamie your in a much better place and no more dialysis ever again. We will miss you, rest in peace my friend.

I am going to try to find out who did the memorial page and see if I can find out how he died.

Going through life tied to a chair!

His last post said that he felt he didn't think he would last much longer.  What a waste.

I guess for the rest of us..... If we quit posting we should assume we are gone?  Maybe we should post emergency numbers so someone could call and find out what happened to us.

Well I would not post phone numbers here on the site (due to possible abuse), but I could keep a list of contact numbers in the event we have not heard from a member in a certain amount of time.

Very good idea "Rerun" I will be creating a post discussing the idea soon.

This has been sad for me, especially reading Jamie's last posts.  I hope that he was in comfortable circumstances when he passed.
We have now lost 2 people that we had come to know from this website.  We really have to put something in place.
Hey, you guys, please be compliant!  Restrict your fluids, watch your diets, do whatever you can to stay alive!  Please!  This is not easy.

I just wanted to say that Jaime was my friend that I knew personally as he was in my unit (in one post he mentioned we got donuts every friday from a guy named Ian who's mother was on as well).

I remember Ian and Jamie laughing about teasing me when Jaime was in his chair and I was weighing myself for mine and Ian came up behind me and stepped on my scale but I didn't know. Jaime said the look on my face was priceless.

Ah the memories .... I miss him. I just wanted to add that happy memory for you all since I just saw this post now. I am having trouble sleeping and since I dont have dialysis today I thought I would look at old posts. This is quickly becoming my favourite place to be on the net.

Thx Epo for bringing us all together like this. I just wish I had known Jamie was on here while him and I were talking in dialysis and in email. Thanks Epo for bringing me here.

Thanks for sharing Angie.  That is a sweet memory.  Feel free to share any more if you'd like.
