I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left

1983 high proteinloss in urine, chemo, stroke,coma, dialysis
1984 double nephrectomy
1985 transplant from dad
1998 lost dads kidney, start PD
2003 peritineum burst, back to hemo
2012 start Nxstage home hemo
2020 start Gambro AK96

       still on waitinglist, still ok I think

Thank you for that link Cassandra. I have just discovered this on my recent travels as well. There was a previous human CKD trial in Mexico from what I understand that saw some benefits (though it did not increase the eGFR nor decrease proteinuria).

What I find exciting about this is just the pure research of a botanical for a change. For too long kidney patients are just issued with a blanket statement that all herbal medicine should be strictly avoided because they have not been studied. Well here is one clinical trial that will find out more about one herb that will be scientifically credible and valid.
