Friends help me about the food when i start my dialysis ... and please give me some suggestion like what food will be good for me...and how to cook it .
I haven't much appetite though...My Dr. said ton't drink water too much...Also i have uric acid problem.

Hello Ritamghosh, and a big  :welcomesign; to IHD....

I'm sure there are lots of people on here who can help with your questions.... I think a lot of your diet needs will depend on your blood results... Some people tend to a high potassium (my late mum tended to a low), some a high Albinum (again, Mum was low), etc...

Actually m waiting for my new report after then i can show you the amount....beside that why i dnt hv the appetite of food and all time feel :banghead; vomiting....

I know one thing that really helped my mum was Ginger Biscuits... Nibbling on one really eased her nausea... Might be worth a try!...

Hope you feel better soon... Being queasy all of the time is no fun!....

I was like that for almost 6 months straight. Unable to eat no appetite and randomly nauseas. Once I started dialysis a couple weeks ago that went away in a couple treatments. I'm still trying to figure out the diet myself too. Lol.  Good luck new diet is weird.
