Hi There,

Greetings from Ireland!

As someone who's been "lurking" for about a year now, thank you so much to all for a great site!

I was diagnosed with Kidney Disease about 2 years ago.  Pretty much end stage even then!  I had a fistula op shortly afterwards, and all seemed fine.  I started dialysis about 2 months ago, and after about 5 weeks of trouble with the fistula (sometimes taking 5 or even 6 "go's" to get the cannulation working) now everything seems fine on each visit.

I'm attending Cork University Hospital three times a week - and judging by the experiences I've read here by some people, I can state that it's probably the best dialysis centre in the world - staffed by the most caring & professional staff ever!  :thx;

Anyhow - that's about it - good to say hi - gotta fly & do some work......

Talk soon,

Enda.

Hello Enda, and welcome to IHD.  I'm so glad you joined.  I do like this site in the fact you can just lurk and learn.  But, it is nice to meet you.

I'm glad your center is a good one.
