Heartburn/Gerd

Since about 2005 I have suffered from severe heartburn. My Dr. has prescribed nearly every RX available to man and all of them work. For about 6 weeks. Then we are back to square one. I mean, it got so bad I was losing my breath because of the steady belching. Recently my DH saw one of those hokey ads on TV which promised they cold make you heartburn free, and for only $50.00. So he ordered it without discussing it with me. I was furious as I was sure it would not work. After a few months of my meds not working again, I got desperate and decided to try the 2 tsp of Honey a day. Also 2 tsp if it started back up again. It works and has no side effects, such as ( pardon the expression ) farting. 1 tsp of Honey has 20 calories, 6 g of carbs and for $5.00 or so, a months supply. I don't know if you could do this if you are diabetic, but, if you are not, it is worth a try. Just wanted to share.
