It was removed Thurs. doc said it was about size of plum and was stealing about 4 liters of blood from hand. That is why my hand stopped working. The worst part is they could not use my upper arm for dialysis so now I have a cath IN MY NECK for three weeks until arm heals.
it hurts a lot. Bless the guy who discovered Tylenol!

HOLLY COW!! we grew plums this year and they were small.. I cant emagine even one of them on a fistula!!  geesh!  So glad it was found and removed and your on your way.  Mabie enjoy the 'non' sticking at least? All the best for quick pain away healing ;)

ouch - really they had to remove them? How did they do that? yikes. I have 2 fair sized ones on my fistula - have for a number of years and as far as I know they don't seem to have blocked anything. that is no good that your upper arm is unusable as well :( sorry to hear that!
