New Goal reached!!

I'm developing some dialysis software and as it supports super long sessions I thought I'd better test it myself before inflicting it on others :-)
New treatment goal: 11hrs 15m
Blood volume: 162 litres
Felt fantastic after, no complications.

What blood pump speed do you use? I'm at 400 and process 184 liters over 8 hours.

I'm developing some dialysis software ....
So, what is involved in developing dialysis software? What sort of development tools, environments? What is it you are trying to get the software to do? What are the particular challenges?
cheers,

Hi KatieV, 240. While that can be increased my machine is not configured to go too much higher at the moment. Thats a great volume you get as the public system here is around 70 to 80 litres per session.
I still have enough Sodium to extend to 12 hours, but increasing the pump speed will drain it faster.

Hi skg, The objective is to create set of tools to assist Haemodialaysis users in optimising their treatements. It focusses on providing knowledge and workflows for treatment sessions. It targets mainly HomeD users who have the ability to modify their treatments to achieve better outcomes, but can be used by anyone.
Its packed full of functionality and reporting.
Its a web-based platform and multi-country/timezone
Beta will be released shortly. The base functionality is free with some advanced features being pay as you go.

Do you do any device control, or does it just provide machine settings?
Also, heparin dose is quite variable.

No device control, but a good idea.
Yes heparin is variable. The level of detail in this software may surprise
A purpose is to provide the power back to dialysis patients (for those who want it), to assist in developing a treatment strategy to give them as much of their life back as possible. I guess it would suit the younger and newer patients who might be struggling as I was to get back into the drivers seat. It has worked for me.
