Hi Everyone...

Does anyone use Chat anymore???... I can remember many an hour (often WAY past my bedtime!) chatting with other IHDers in the chat room... Thank God those walls can't talk!... The things discussed in there would sometimes make your toes, let alone your hair, curl!...  :shy;

It was a great resource and we really supported each other...

I know that Chat was out of action for a while, and I just wondered if anyone uses it anymore???.... Is there any chance of a nice long gossip???...

With the recent upgrade, there doesn't seem to be an indication of "who is in chat" when I have dropped in.
It was nice to visit that 'ol stomping ground.

Uninterrupted in-center (self-care) hemodialysis since 1982 -- 34 YEARS on March 3, 2016 !!

No transplant.  Not yet, anyway.  Only decided to be listed on 11/9/06. Inactive at the moment.  ;)
I make films.

Just the facts: 70.0 kgs. (about 154 lbs.)
Treatment: Tue-Thur-Sat   5.5 hours, 2x/wk, 6 hours, 1x/wk
Dialysate flow (Qd)=600;  Blood pump speed(Qb)=315
Fresenius Optiflux-180 filter--without reuse
Fresenius 2008T dialysis machine
My KDOQI Nutrition (+/ -):  2,450 Calories, 84 grams Protein/day.

I have tried to get into chat several times but cant :( I get an error msg. I'd like to use it tho, it would be a good way to get to know other members,

It appears to be working. It does require logging in again with your IHD info. If anyone wants to try it now, please let me know by PM.

Jenna is our daughter, bad bladder damaged her kidneys.
Was on in-center hemodialysis 2003-2007.
7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.
She did PD Sept. 2013 - July 2017
Found a swap living donor using social media, friends, family.
New kidney in a paired donation swap July 26, 2017.

It would be a nice way to develop new friendships, and renew old ones!...

I just logged in with just my user name.  Darth, you might want to start a post here on "I'm in chat right now" whenever you want to use it.  If everyone updates the time they log in on the thread, more people might come check it out!

How about if you log in to chat you hang about a little.  Just logged in and went back to IHD for about 30 seconds and when I got back to chat Bill Peckham had been and gone in no time.  Would have loved to chat.  It's easy to flip back and forth
