There are icons at the top of each new post for shortcuts on doing certain things.
The first row begins with the bold icon. On the second row right under the bold icon is a picture Icon to embed a picture into your post.

To insert a picture from your iPad click on the picture icon
This inserts some text (code) in your blank post box.
Under the blank box now should be a button or highlighted text that says Additional Options. Click that and now there is an attach button with a button to choose a file.
Click choose a file and the apple menu appears and asks if you want to take a picture or choose from picture roll
Click on camera roll and choose the picture you want to display and it puts it in the post when you click the attach button. You can add more than one picture at a time (multiple pics in one post) or add comments and click on post.

BAM your picture should be embedded in your post now!

If any other apple users have question please let me know. I'm gathering all the easiest ways to do everything right from an iPad no laptop or desktop PC required!!

Hopes this helps, it took me a bit to figure out but finally got it. BTW It works for iPhone users as well.
