How to Find Out when Your next SS Disability Review is scheduled - a DIY project

 Step 1:  Get a book to read.  This can't be done online, and you will sit on hold for 20 minutes minimum.

Step 2:  Call Social Security at 1-800-772-1213. 

Step 3:  When you finally get a human being, request a Benefits Planning Query (BPQY) aka Form 2459.  They don't ask why, so you don't have to explain it.

Step 4:  Wait about 2 weeks for it to arrive in the mail.

Step 5:  Read Page 1.  It's there in black and white. 

My next review (barring my Ticket to Work enrollment putting it on hold) is scheduled for October 2013. 
The form also lists my "Medical Re-exam Cycle" which is listed as 3+ years.

This is good to know - especially post-transplant, when you have no idea when they may or may not be reviewing your case.
