I started drinking Vitamin water, pomegranate flavor to be precise.
Over the past couple months I've notice that I've gone from having no urine, to gradually being able to pee.
It started with a few drops in the morning, then to a very short stream once a day, then to a somewhat longer stream once a day, now to a longer twice a day. Are my kidneys healing themselves or should I not get excited yet?
How do I know if my kidneys are improving. Is the BUN test the only way to test kidney health?

Ask them to do a 24 hour urine collection with pre and post BUN.  That's about the only way to really know if you are regaining function.

if you're getting better, it has nothing to do with the vitamin water.  vitamins are important, but vitamin water is mostly sugar

better to get your vitamins elsewhere!  But if you're urinating, definitely stay hydrated!

God I hope you ARE getting better :)

Thanks Jean and Fearless!
and thanks for the link Fearless, i guess i should have researched it more> i did see that its 130 calories a bottle. im starting to wonder if the urinating is just a side affect. cause when i eat or drink anything too sugary my system just wants to flush it out if you know what i mean. i guess i need to reseach what vitamins im actually getting if any. i did ask them my creatinine levels and they said it was a 10 this month which was 11 the previous month. nothing to get excited about but worth keeping an eye on
