if you can control yourself, a little is ok. I was doing ok with that, then we had barbeques and people brought treats and I have been very naughty. I am watching myself very carefully after about 4 days of too much fruit, and almost daily doses of chocolate and dairy (mostly cheese). Just once a day, but still....
bad one! And my numbers have been so excellent! I have to get back on the wagon. I was eating one or two Hershey's kisses, or a mini candy bar, usually just a couple a month, but thus was a bad week for me. Was stop, good about coffee and tea, though. Had pecans on Vanilla ice cram yesterday, home sick. That's my weakness, the. I'm trapped with the yummies.. Also I hate to waste food, and my husband is on a diet....
now, I'm not on dialysis yet, so don't follow my example and think you'll be ok. My gfr is 15-16.
