I know dried fruit, in general is high in K and best avoided but what about dried apples? I never thought about it until I saw a bag of them in the store the other day. Of course the K wasn't listed on the bag  :banghead; Do you guys know what the levels are in a serving?

According to the www.healthaliciousness.com website:

"Dried Apples: 450mg (13% DV) per 100 gram serving: 387mg (11% DV) per cup (86 grams) 27mg (1% DV) per ring (slice) (6 grams)"

Haven't heard about this site before, but they claim their info is from the U.S. Agricultural Research Service Nutrition Data Release 20. Guess you could double check with your dietitian.

Hmmm. Interesting! Thank you for sharing the link and the info. I will try to remember to bring it up with my dietician. I am terrible at remembering to ask her things when I see her. I am totally bookmarking this. Very handy!  :thx;

Getting rid of the fluid seems like such a simple solution to our fluid issues, doesn't it?
I was warned that dried fruit tends to be high in K because the serving sizes are so concentrated.  A cup of chopped apple has very little, but a cup of dried can easily be triple the amount because of the lack of fluid taking up the space.
The usual Dialysis Diet catch-22.   :P
