 I spoke with the RN at my clinic today and she gave me the OK to have my catheter removed on Friday. She wanted to make sure we were comfortable at home with the buttonholes before removing the catheter. I've had it in for almost 5 months now. It will be so nice to get a nice long hot shower!

Shower until all the hot water is gone, use the whole bottle of bubble bath, have a rubber ducky race in the tub - all of it!   :bandance;

Uh, bill, I have a huge ducky collection if you'd like to borrow a few to celebrate!  Just sayin... :2thumbsup;

Whether the glass is half empty or half full is not as important as being thankful there's a glass and grateful there's something in it.

Once that is gone, it is one small step to feeling better. I hated those catheters and not enjoying a real shower. Enjoy that shower
