Laurie is home from hospital and doing well . He is very weak and has lost even more weight . Back on the machine with increased volume for ten hours - he is not loving that ! When the hernia is completely healed he said he would prefer to go back to using manual bags so we are hoping this is possible as he hates that machine and it's alarms .
Fingers crossed we are done with complications and he can finally get some consistent dialysis and we can have our life back . Thanks everyone for thinking of us .

Consistent dialysis would be wonderful! Glad he's doing better.

It's good to hear that he's home again.

I prefer CAPD - I don't like the idea of the machine alarming through the night.
