I passed out after treatment

A few treatments ago, I was pulling off a little bit more fluid than I normally pull in one treatment. I had about a half hour to go and I started feeling bad, so I set my machine to pull less fluid and I gave myself a little saline. Well, next thing I knew, I was laying flat in the chair, all three techs in the unit were standing over me, and the nurse was pumping more saline into me! They said I was only out for less than a minute, but that was only the second time in six and a half years that I've passed out on the machine. Fortunately I recovered quickly (after about 600cc of saline), and didn't need any help getting off the machine, and I was able to drive home ok. It was still a scary experience.

Very scary! Is that due to low BP? I am glad you're ok (and that someone noticed!)

It's scary, alright! Starting to cramp is the warning sign for me. When that happens, I stop removing fluid (and lie flat as a tack)!

Thats scary for sure! I luckily have not passed out yet but have seen others in the center, it always makes me stop breathing for a few seconds until I know they are ok. I say a lot of prayers too!

I passed put once but luckily it was when I was doing dialysis in the hospital so the nurse was right there. I just slipped away for a minute and the odd thing was that I didn't cramp beforehand. But this was when I had pneumonia so I was already sick as a dog and dialysis didn't help. I had been doing NxStage for a year at that time and wasn't used to the harshness or the in center machines any more.
