Thank you SO MUCH for giving us one more resource for renal friendly recipies.  There can never be too many.  The blog looks spectacular, and I have already put it in my Favorites.  I will definitely try out the recipies!

Well it will be an ever evolving resource as it is a blog. What would you think would "finish" it or improve it?

When I click onto "dinner", for instance, for dinner recipes, I get a message "not found".  Same for "lunch" and "desserts" and "Breakfast".  Do you just not yet have recipes under those categories?

Yes those categories are empty at the moment. I only have two recipes up at the moment. I didn't want to place recipes on the blog that I haven't actually tried/made before. That and I don't want to just re-post recipes I find on the internet. I started the blog because I love to cook and I tend to make my own renal diet friendly recipes and those are the ones I wanted to share. That and I also like to find recipes that I use to love and make them renal friendly. So if there is anything you want me to try and make renal friendly feel free to leave me a PM or email me at diningondialysis@gmail.com.

 :thx;

Oh, OK.  I figured that was the reason, but I was afraid that maybe the links weren't working.

I would love to have some recipies at hand that are renally friendly for the pre-dialysis patient, ie no meat, low protein.  Maybe something using cream cheese?  My husband loves his pasta, particularly with some sort of red sauce which I need to avoid.  Thanks!!!  That would be great!  I know there are some online, but I'd rather have you come up with something as I really like your blog.

UPDATE: I have added printable and download-able recipe cards to the recipes! That way you can more easily store your favorite recipe or not have to have your laptop near you while cooking.

As the "bread maker" in our family as a teenager I have a suggestion.  "Paint" a light coating of vegetable oil on the loaves of the bread shortly after they come out of the oven and the top crust will be softer.

Hi there
I enjoyed your blog. I finished reading it tonight. I enjoyed your willingness to experiment. I will try a couple of your ideas.
