Hi, just checking in!  It's been a long and bumpy road, but I wanted to let you all know I got my PD cath back last Tuesday and have only 5 more in unit hemo treatments until I'm back on PD.  I give you all a lot of credit - hemo is sooooo hard.  For me at least PD is a walk in the park compared to hemo.  My blood work was all over the place and I crashed several times during my 7 months on hemo.   Of course during that same 7 months I had 8 surgeries and 6 hospital stays, so that could explain why things were so out of wack, too.  Anyway, I'm happy to be heading back to familiar territory before Christmas and wanted to stop by and say Hi and Merry Christmas to you all! :flower;

Lovely to 'see' and hear from you Diane.  I expect you're SO pleased to be going back on PD in time for Christmas.

WishIKnew. I am so pleased for you, this year has been really rough for you so hopefully you will sail through next year. So glad you will be back on PD and yes hemo is hard, my husband had to go on it for 5 months before they put his cath back and it was awful. You take care .
