Has anyone had any bad side effects to the procrit injections? reading the possible side effects could about scare a person to death... lol

 I've never noticed any problems after the procrit shots but reading the side effects of just about any med you take would scare you to death to take them,  :lol;

I got 'em!  The "flu-like" symptoms they describe in the Procrit warnings would knock me flat for the entire next day.  Flu-like my fanny.  I called it a baseball bat in a bottle, because it felt like I'd been beaten by one.  Nausea, vomiting, headache, fever, muscle aches, shaking....oh, I was a joy to be around.

thanks for the heads up jbeany... I did have a fever and felt like total crap after the 1st one... but did not know if it was related to shot.. or something else.. sounds like shot.... how many shots did it take before you got your HG back up? or rather how long did it take? I am ready to feel better... goodness, I hope this will make me feel better.. i just drag so much here lately...
