This is a great idea for a thread!  Everyone, post something about what you consider to be your greatest achievement in life so far.  Brag all you want! :clap;

Let's see.

Master's degree in Physical Chemistry 1994
Worked full time for 15 years, only taking off 8 weeks for my 1st transplant (although not able to work now)
Still teaching Sunday School to adults for 14 years
Still singing in church choir even though the intubation tried to ruin my voice

Now my biggest thing is sitting with my niece and holding her hand. She is trach/vented with 24 hour nursing. I can't do any nursing but I give her love.

It's a small list. I wonder a lot if there's a point to continuing. Nice to see you guys are so upbeat.

Healthy people may look upon me as weak because of my illness, but my illness has given me strength that they can't begin to imagine.

Always look on the bright side of life...
