Today I asked my nurse what my monthly labs were and one thing I noticed my k was 9.3! Yes 9.3! My nurse and I think this is an error since the lab didn't call or note the dangerous level. Also I'm not experiencing any symptems, and with a k of 9.3 I would probably not be able to move! We are testing this again so I hope it's really fine because when I went to the hospital it was 4.1 and I haven't eaten any high potassium foods lately.

Oh geez, with a K level like that, you know someone would be on the phone to you.  My K went up to 6 once, and the neph's nurse called me immediately.  With a 9, she probably would have ordered me an ambulance!  :P

I think that if it were really 9.3 you'd be nearly dead. It makes me wonder how they could make such a large error.

kaoxolate for everyone! even if i can't spell it. i've seen DH this high a few times. he had no symptoms either.
he took the above, and we found he was drinking little bits of grapefruit juice and eating baby carrots.  was making it go so high. that is dangerously high though, lets hope its a lab error!

Haven't gotten the new k back yet but the lab never called so it must be ok. Also I've been on the other side of the potassium (too low) and I had symptems, but hopefully I'll know something tomorrow.
