I have a fistula in my left upper arm.

In the last six months or so, I've been noticing that a number of other veins in my left forearm have begun to protrude--much more than the veins in my right forearm.

Anyone else noticed anything like that?  Is it due to the changes in blood circulation caused by the fistula?

Yes. I have a fistula in my left forearm.  The veins in that arm are much more prominent.

If it were me I'd get it checked. Just to be safe.

I have a fistula in my upper left arm, too, and I look like half a Borg.  I've had mine for over a year, and I've noticed that even the veins on the left side of my chest are darker and more prominent.  I've been told that my fistula is "excellent" although I've never used it yet, so I'm going to choose to believe that this vein prominence is a good thing.

I've had my fistula in my left lower arm for two years.

Yes, the veins in my left arm have grown more prominent. They all get affected by the higher pressure in your fistula.
