I'm visiting my inlaws for 2 days. My boyfriend packed the car with all my supplies, but forgot mycassettes for my liberty cycler. Any suggestions? FMC won't deliver me a box and there is only a hemo center here!

What state are you in?

Try local hospitals to see if they use Liberty Cyclers for patients.

Call Fresenius back and ask them for the nearest unit they deliver to which would have what you need and go there tomorrow or try to get their 24 hour nurse on call number.

Hope this works out!

Like WishIKnew I was going to suggest calling the nearest Fresenius facility and see if they PD nurse can give you some. I know they can get more delivered and keep a stash for when they train new patients. I am sure they could spare one if you explain the situation.

September 16, 2008 - Transplanted with my kidney.
September 18, 2008 - Kidney was removed due to thrombosis in the vessels in and leading to the kidney.

October 2008 - Listed in Region I

January 2010 - Started CCPD on Liberty Cycler

June 15, 2012 - Kidney transplant from a 43 year old deceased donor

You might find there is someone on PD nearby that could help you out. I have found NxStagers when in a pinch and there are fewer of us then PDers. Putting out a call for assistance on the Home Dialysis Central PD board and here might find someone close by.

The nearest facility (30+ miles) is:
FRESENIUS MEDICAL CARE CORYDON
1141 HOSPITAL DRIVE
SUITE B-1
CORYDON, IN 47112
(812) 738-6200

But they don't list home dialysis. The nearest facility that lists home dialysis as a treatment option is 45 miles from Tell City:
FRESENIUS MEDICAL CARE OHIO VALLEY DIALYSIS
230 BELLEMEADE AVENUE
EVANSVILLE, IN 47713
(812)425-4111

Don't know if the phone #'s are 100% correct because I had to google search them after I got the facility name from the Fresenius webpage.
Good luck!

Due to the fact that there is a lot of stuff to remember to take when traveling on pd I made up a spread sheet to check off the supplies as I pack them and the correct quantities based on the number of nights I will be traveling (or camping). I have two seperate lists, one for capd and one for ccpd.
I will be happy to share these with anyone who would like to see them.
