Hi guys, I am a bit beside myself, as I have to be in Seattle (from Alaska) on the 17th for surgery on the 23rd.  Why of all times do I get the first (I assume) cyst bleed from PKD?  I am on my 4th day of peeing blood, but no temperature nor pain.  I am not too worried about it, but just wonder if this continues, would they postpone the transplant?  Its not easy leaving home for so long to have a transplant so far away.  Anyone else have this happen to them?  Thanks for listening.....

had this happen a few years ago, totally freaked the bleeding continued for 2 weeks, luckily was not in the mix for transplant at the time.

neph said the bleeds can last for a day or 2, up to 2 weeks

hope your transplant goes ahead

OH I am glad to say that tonight, after 5 days, the bleeding has stopped for now.  YAY!  Ok, now onto my regularly scheduled chaos of trying to get ready to go to Seattle (from Alaska) where they tell me I have to stay for 4 months.  Blessings all, thanks!

Oh dang, keep everything crossed some more......  I guess I only had one trip to the bathroom with no blood, it's back.  Not real heavy though.  I am starting to pack, as if I am going to Seattle for the transplant.... hoping this will either stop, or it won't be an issue with the transplant team.

Thanks!
