Hyperkalmeic right now, need ER

OK, I need a prayer for ME please. I don't know how to handle this again. First I have to say the peast couple/rew months he's been better than ever witht his diet, not perfect but.. He felt the high K "weakness again. Now he can't hardly walk right becuase the muscle paralysis has set in. It's starting to get worse. He made to to the bed to lay in. Our home is a little warm insiide and he is under a blanket. He said he is freezing. He thinks he'll just wait it out until dialysis tomorrow. If i call an ambulance, he will start screaming and getting nasty. (He is super nice, but acts like an idiot whe he is sick like this) I can't wait for my 19 year old daughter to get home from work so I'm not alone with this, plus he listens a little more to her. I'm tired of always being on the edge and stressed out. I guess we'll wait him to fall 3 times and bust up his knee again until he's rendered helpless on the floor and paramedics have to scoop him up.. This is so not fair. To me, and though I'm mad he won't go in to ER right this second like he should, it's not fair to him. his whole kidney failure thing I'm talking about. It sure stinks for all of you.

God Bless you TS for all that you do. You sound panic stricken, and I dont blame you. Call the ambulance anyways. Maybe the paralysis wont go too far in the meantime. Praying for you.

Jean, you know what I've been through in the past and yes, I think I am going to call anyway. To get himself out of bed just now to the bathroom he had to "walk" his fingers several times to the edge of the bed. Suprised he made out butheld onto railing on the way in. I ran over to my nurse neighbors and she told me how to properly to a pulse which I will do and about "PVC". Premature ventricular contractions because of course, the heart is a mucle too. I had never heard of that. She used to be a dialysis nurse back in the 70's and 80's. I gotta get him to the freaking emergency room that's all. He's a big guy over 6 foot and I'm little. I can't throw him on my back unfortuenetly.

If you call paramedics they will evaluate him and hopefully tell him he needs to go to the hospital.
Sending you hugs and prayers.

Strictly speaking as a former Caregiver, I would call the Ambulance, I can deal with the patients ire after they are "repaired".
For your own good as well as his, I urge you to do so......

OMG again?!?!! And why does this man NOT LEARN??? (and if he's been so good with his diet.. what did he eat several large blocks of chocolate or something?
). It seems so obbious that he has been through these symptoms before and you both know what it is and what needs to be done and he's so stubborn!! ARGH!!
*HUGS* This must be so incredibly hard for you.
I would just call. If the worst he does is rant then so be it. He''s clearly in no condition to do anything else. You love him. You know what needs to happen. Make the call. deal with the fallout later. If he's in a condition to rant at you after that will be something to be thankful for and is probably easier to handle than the worry and stress of watching this.
I'm so sorry you're on this rollercoaster. Yes, kidney failure is a curse on all of us who have to endure it.. but he's making it 100 million times worse, and it affects YOU so much.
Again, hugs.
let us know. we all hope he can pull through again, but why does this pattern keep going on?! *sigh*
