Stress me out!!!

I am a shift supervisor here at work and have been for 25 years. Well today when checking on my guys i find one guy not at his machine. I begin looking for him and i find him layed out over another machine holding his chest and shaking and sweating bad. I grab him and set him down in a chair and ask him what's wrong, he say his chest is killing him. Now this guy has had past heart issues (stints) and he says to get his pills out of his pocket and give him one so i do and it was nitro pills, i place one under his tongue and he begins to get some color back and says he feels better.
After a couple minutes he says he feels good and gets up and BAM he falls to the floor grasping at his chest. I pick him back up and put him in the chair and he takes another pill and he seems better almost instantly. But he continues to sweat and shake then the pain comes back again and i had already called ems to assist. I get some other guys and we lay him on a desk and ems comes and they wosh him away just that fast.
He is being admitted for a possible heart issue but will need further testing... Bad part is he is only 40 years old...
I wish him well. Man i am at the end of my rope watching all this unfold, i just hope i did the right thing and did it all the right way...

If he was still alive so the EMs could take him to the hospital, it sounds like you did all right. What a horrible day for you. Be sure and do something nice for yourself to take the sting out of your stressful day.

Good to hear he was able to make it to the hospital. Even better for him was the fact that you were there to help when he needed it. Wow!

Well he is still in the hospital while they run more tests. I hope all will be okay with this young man.
