Just got the results of hubby's last PTH and it was 417!!!   :clap; Down from 1300.  He was taking 60 mg a day and it is reduced now to 30!!  We just picked up a months supply of 60's today. Luckily I have insurance - cost was almost $700 but I only pay $7.95. Not sure if we can cut them in 2 or not but the dialysis nurse faxed a new script to the pharmacy here in town for 30 mg and we will pick them up tomorrow.

Nice when something works the way it's supposed to, isn't it?   :clap;

Maybe you can ask if it's ok to take the 60's on alternate days to use up the 60's you got. For a while I was on alternate days with no real problem.

I have to call the dialysis nurse tomorrow on a couple of issues and I am going to ask about the 60 mg pills.  I wonder if they are a pill you can split and take half.
