Tonight we accidentally reversed the venous and arterial lines on NxStage...

so we had a rough time running, lots of red 24 errors, and we (thought) checked everything, and double checked everything.  Then at the end of treatment when I went to hook up the arterial for a rinseback, blood flowed into the saline bag!!!!

We pressed stop and realized that the lines were reversed.

What did we do???

I rehooked everything, and did a rinseback, lost some blood in the saline bag.    My question is did we actually clean his blood??  Thanks.
