Sorry if I'm being a bit thick but I don't think I understand.  Are you saying that people have donated time and resources to you so that you can still be employed, so you feel like you have to keep on working even though you may not physically be up to it?  Perhaps it is "light duty", but in light of some past events, it's important. 

I hope this drug works for you.  Not having enough sleep makes everything so much harder!
