I am concerned with the amount of garbage I produce on perotoneal dialysis, I've been collecting the caps maybe an art project or to send back to Baxter,
I do 5 exchanges a day and change my dressings everday, I can just imagine the amount of toxins are sent into the air and living on an Island, the water, can a recycle plant take the
polyvinyl bags? frustrated with dialysis and garbage....Wolfken

The caps are plastic so they can be recycled.  Dont mention they are from medical supplies.  The plastic (outer) bags from the solutions can be recycled.  The cardboard can be recycled.  The cassettes should be able to be recycled but unsure due to medical use.  But truly they chop it all up and wash it at high temps so they should be ok.

I was told by Baxter that the bags are recyclable; however when I called the recycling people, they said they don't want anything without the triangle logo.
