Hi!

What was your BP in the course of different stages of KD?
When I was in the stage 2 with no meds, my BP reached the peak 220/140. I was hospitilized. In the stages 3 and 4 it was around 120/70. For the last 6 months my BP is around 125/80.

Regards.

My BP has been controlled with medication for years because I suffer from Hypertension.
Through the more recent stages of my kidney failure (now ~10% function),
my BP remains controlled and I haven't had any reason to increase my medication.
In case this is of any help to you, I take my antihypertensives at approximately 1pm every day,
because I find I have less interference from the medication in the morning and afternoon.
Good luck from Kristina.

My hubby has been on NxStage for 2 months.  His BP is too high before during and after treatment.  175/105 off machine, while on 155/100.  ???  He is on Lisinopril, Atenolol (just upped from 50 to 100), and Cardizem LA 240.  What gives?
