Hi, I'm sort of a newbie here (but been reading forums for awhile now) (will fill intro to me soon...honest). I had a fistula placed in the elbow in Jan 2009 and it has matured into a "turbo-charged" fistula (according to Neph)......but the d@@m thing hurts like crazy whenever I move my arm or even if I dont move it. It's like the vein is being pulled over, towards the artery. My Neph says exercise it.....hmm how big does he want it, already looks like I have a line of aa batteries up my arm, my gp wanted to inject cortezone (spelling) into my shoulder, as he thinks its a frozen shoulder....but Neph wants to check it first
Now the thing is, they may be using it soon, as Neph reckoned I would start Hemo end of Jan and I am a bit worried about it, for if it hurts without moving, whats it going to be like when they start treating it like a dartboard ?
