ESRD affects everyone associated to it. The effects are enormous and takes it's toll on the person with ESRD but also their loved ones, caretakers and even the health professionals who really care about their patients on a day to day basis.

This is the case with Michelle a 38 year old Caretaker and health professional. We here at IHD have known Michelle as Inara for sometime, she has lost her battle with depression. Michelle was the first one in line when it came to standing up for those affected with ESRD. She was a kind person with genuine deep caring of others, so much that she devoted her life to helping others. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her in life and on the boards of IHD.

I hope Michelle has found the peace that she missed out on in this life and that there is a special place in heaven to reward her for her selflessness in caring for others in her short time on earth.

Go rest high on that mountain.

Go Rest High On That Mountain

I know your life on earth was troubled
And only you could know the pain
You weren't afraid to face the devil
You were no stranger to the rain

(Chorus)
Go rest high on that mountain
Girl, your work on earth is done
Go to heaven a shoutin'
Love for the Father and the Son

Oh, how we cried the day you left us
We gathered 'round your grave to grieve
I wish I could see the angels' faces
When they hear your sweet voice sing

Repeat (Chorus)

Go to heaven a shoutin'
Love for the Father and the Son.

She will be missed here.  Our loving thoughts are with her family and friends.  May she be at peace and know she was loved.   :cuddle;

May Michelle's gentle soul rest in peace!...

God Saw You Getting Tired

God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to be.
So He wrapped his arms around you,
and whispered, "come to me."

You didn't deserve what you went through,
So He gave you rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best

May God bless and protect her loved ones...
