To cut a long story short i did a thread yesterday about how i ended up as an emergency at the renal unit ..high potassium due to APD . So this morning i get a call from one of the dialysis nurses (now bear in mind they ALL know i live on my own) She was calling to let me know a district nurse will be coming to see me first thing in the morning to do my bloods and i said ..well will much have changed by then ? and she said ..we need to do your bloods to see what your potassium is like , you know your heart can stop anytime and you can drop down dead ! Great , thanks, just exactly what i wanted to hear , talked about stressed now !
