Before starting dialysis, my Mother had been getting a B12 shot every month for many years.
Since starting dialysis 3 years ago, her Kdiney Dr. has stoped them. We don't know why.

Is this something that is normally done and why?
If she needed it before. why not now?

She has been very weak and tired and her blood cells were
large so the doctor ordered a b12 check. It was on the low end on normal.
