Hello Everyone,

Thank you EPOMAN for contacting me, and seeing if i was OK. Well the truth is i have been having a hard time with cannulating, and trying to fit in university, dialysis, and a lot of hospital appointment.

How many of you use bottom hole?? and if you do how often have you changed the spot?? from the ultrasound they said i have extremely bad scarring, and the thing is i don't have much room on my fistula to go newhere else. We will see happens.

Thank you...... :)

Well I am glad you are ok, I had not seen you for a while posting and I was worried. I have been doing buttonhole for about 3 months now and I fortunately I have been doing great. I forget do you stick yourself? Are you currently using the buttonhole?

thanks.

Yes i do it myself at home, but have had to go in to the center lately to get cannulated.

i have been doing button hole for 8 months. We are running out of options at the moment. I have a tiny fistula.

i have a appointment with surgeon tomorrow.

Wish me luck

good luck w/ your appt.  ;D

I've heard very little about the buttonhole technique.  I think I understand it.  I don't think that it is something I would like to do.  The girl I sit next to, she is 21 and is considering doing the buttonhole.  If it works out for her, maybe I would reconsider.
