 Woke up at 5:00A.M. Had my cup of Dunkin Donuts coffee and slung the weights around!

 Went to Church, came home and took my medications,and then headed out to see my youngest son and his fiance and their new dog in their new Townhouse. They will be getting married in the near future. I told them that they had a beautiful place. My Wife and I asked my son and his fiance out to breakfast! As we sat there you could sense the state of happiness that the kids were in with their whole future ahead of them. I was such a proud Father and it helped make me understand why I am still here!

After breakfast my Wife and I went home and worked in our garden! It was a very nice day and I wanted to share this with my friends here!

Yes, life.

It isn't the life we had before dialysis, but we STILL have a great time and do lots of things we enjoy. We still make a contribution to society. We still laugh and love and cry and rant. We get to spend our Wren's first birthday with her in Massachusetts. We get to bring Willow to Tennessee for a visit.

We get to live.

What makes my dialysis worth it, is that my neph and social worker are impressed with my Brainiac-level intelligence.  I really fooled them, eh?   ;D

 If I get better, I might even start seeking out a job at one of the hospitals in my area.  I could probably use my neph as a reference on my job application.

My first inclination was to write "your life," but it looks like you have your life magnificently under control.  Yay on you!   :clap;

Yes, we have a choice where so many others don't.  Sometimes I need reminded of that.
