My blood pressure is 84/69 and I feel crappy.  My nurse has me taking it easy and drinking lots of fluids and eating salty foods.  At what point do we do something else?  I had a can of chicken noodle soup for breakfast and it got up to 89/65 this morning.

Just a little bit nervous...

You need to be careful to not get too dehydrated. Just this week a friend of mine was vomiting quite a bit and was warned todrink more ... a few hours later her fistula stopped (blocked)... she's now miserable with a chest cath and they're not sure if they can fix her fistula or not.

I was told that is what happened to my graft in 2007...dehydrated and low BP...didn't pump the blood through it fast enough.  My BP is constantly 98/58 etc so I still worry about it happening again.

Could be that you have gained some weight and your dry weight should be a bit higher.  Some people can go several kilos below what is their actual weight and the only symptom is low bp.

Try raising your dry weight up a kilo or two and wait a week to see if you bp corrects itself, that is what my doctor did when my bp dropped down like that even before I was put on the machine.
