My name is Lou and I live in South Florida. I am 56 years young. I have ESRD like many of you. I receive dialysis 3 times a week at an outpatient clinic.

My journey started about 2 years ago when I was told that I had "Retroperitoneal Fibrosis". This fibrosis mass attacked my kidneys and after fighting the good fight for over a yea, it basicly destryoed my kidneys. After quite a few months in and out of the hospital, it was time for dialysis. I have been going to dialysis since July 2008.

Now, I actually feel great, (knock on wood)r. I just moved into an apartmrnt with my 2 dogs. Getting my indepedance back is fantastic.

Well, take care everyone     louisnardelli@hotmail.com
