  What a ctazy couple of weeks!
  Why world record? We have already given up on the graft put in my left arm two weeks ago today. The Saturday after the surgery, it was already clotted, so the next Friday after three regular treatments at the clinic, I went to the interventional radiologist, who unplugged the clot(s) and did three angioplasties--ouch!
  Blast it all, three days later, it was gone again.
  As a result of talks between the P.A. at the clinic and my surgeon, I had a vein mapping done at the local VA med. center(I'm a veteran) today. The next step is waiting to see what he says next. Hopefully, a natural fistula again, because it is a real pain(sometimes literally) to have this graft in my forearm. Since it is connected to the vein and artery, no fistula anymore, the doctor said it will remain in--it can't be removed.
  So, that is it for now. Oh, except I am having my colonoscopy done Monday. Last Physical Transplant Test  :2thumbsup;
  Jon
  P.S. As I think I have said before, the whole key to this is the fact that my vein is very small. They like veins of 7-8mm, and mine was only about 5, so low flows were the biggest obstacle to the graft's success.
