Present:  Kidney failure from Meds for the liver transplant
Hepatitis C is very very active which is damaging the liver they are worried that he may need a liver transplant to, but until he is strong enough to get the liver biopsy.  And now he is hit with blood infection that he caught in the hospital ( i feel from nurses being not gentle enough with him)....
Started Dialysis Nov 08...Just waiting to see what the miserable Hep C disease is doing to our liver before we can even think about a kidney transplant!!!! :(

I would have it checked out to be safe. They need to do more than feel it, they need a scan.

He did get dialysis today and everything seemed to go fine... Would it not have if something was wrong????   They just had a hard time putting the needles in today, but thats nothing new they say that reason is due to how new the fistula is.   Im just happy he gets some relaxation till Friday he is so sore from the fall, his left torso area like he needed one more thng to make it harder for him to walk...

yeah new fistulas take time to mature and harden up so initially it can be more difficult to needle....

I'm glad he got through OK and can relax over the new year. Thanks for the update :) :cuddle;
