Another Christmas Miracle

Two and a Half Years Ago, my Husband was rushed to the Hospital with a leaking Abdominal Aneurysm, He was Airlifted to a Large City, Thirty Miles from us. I was told that he would probably not even, survive the Flight. They did Surgery and He was in the Hospital about Three Weeks, but came Home and was fine.
Last December 15, He went into a Grand Mal Seizure and collapsed on our Kitchen Floor. He was rushed by EMS to the same City, where Doctors told me, that He was in complete Kidney Failure and His condition was as Critical as it could be. That first Week he was in the Hospital, Three different Doctors, pulled me aside and said, " We want to be sure what you want us to do in a Crisis, situation " You know what I'm Talking about. Life Support. I made those Decisions on my Own. All of Our Family live Hundreds of Miles away and they all offered to come, but I was thinking " Yeah, they might have to come in a Few Days anyway, let's see what happens" I spent last Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning all by Myself, eating Ramen Noodles. Phoofey. The Day after Christmas, yet another Doctor called me at Home and said, " Your Husband is such a Sick Man, even if He goes Home, I don't expect Him to be Alive by this time next Year and I want You to know that, so that you can get Your Plans in Order". He was Kind about it. My Husband was in the Hospital for 35 Days. It has been a Year now, since those Conversations and He has not been in the Hospital again.
We have made Two out of State trips in the last Year. Has he had Sick Days? Yep. He does Dialysis, Three times a Week and Sleeps a lot. It's Our Life now, it is what it is, but in less then Forty-Eight Hours, Our Daughter, Son-In-Law and Our Two Grandbabies will be here for a Week to spend Christmas with us. We will all get up Early on Thursday Morning to see what Santa Brought us. It will be,The Christmas,the Doctors told me last Year would not happen. Do I Beleive in the Will to Live and the Power of Prayer?

Mizar,
My husband Marvin and I are celebrating right along with you!  This year, it will be Marvin's 13th Christmas miracle.  He and I are both lucky, lucky, lucky that he's had the last 13 1/2 years, even with dialysis.  There have  been numerous times since March of 1995 that I almost "lost" him.  We are especially grateful that this Christmas he's not in the hospital, not "sick" (if you don't count the dialysis), and in the best shape he's been in in many years.  God truly is good.  Happy Holidays!
