Medicare launches Web site, e-newsletter for family caregivers

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services today launched a Medicare Web site for family caregivers. http://www.medicare.gov/caregivers/ The site provides information to help family members and friends care for Medicare beneficiaries, links to organizations that assist caregivers and beneficiaries, and access to an electronic newsletter for caregivers. “Through Ask Medicare and the new e-newsletter, CMS will help provide more information to caregivers, helping to streamline caring for Medicare beneficiaries and ultimately improve their quality of life and that of their loved ones,” said CMS Acting Administrator Kerry Weems.
