I certainly do hope it's soon.  The end of the month??  WTH??  I also hope that the transfusion will help get you back some energy.

Kickstart, I am sorry you have had to wait so long for a solution.  This is crazy.   After the transfusion, will you be getting epo shots plus iron?  Seems like they need to help you get your levels stablized so this doesn't keep happening.   I'm sorry you have been feeling so bad  :grouphug;   Hope it all gets better very soon.

That's the NHS for you - it might be 'free' (although we do all pay through taxes) but it can be so slow.  Keeping my fingers crossed for you Kickstart  :grouphug;

I hope they will get you the right treatment soon so you will start feeling better.
I don't know how you do it. You must be sooooo tired. My hemo level has been 11.5 the last few months and I barely manage.

I've been following your posts and am SO GLAD your finally getting the blood transfusion!!  It's hard to believe how long you had to wait too and for them to even suggest you wait till the end of the month?  It just started!!  incredibly frustrating!!  Maybe you should also have your vitamin B12 levels checked too?
