Two Requests for the Mods

On the very front page it says we have over 750 members worldwide.  Since we now have over 2200, how about updating the front page every 1000 members or so.  It might encourage more folks to join if they see lots more people.  Just a thought.

Also, I haven't found it yet, but do we have a topic area to announce support groups?  For example my group, The Kidney Beings, meets the third Saturday of the month at Kaiser (although all are welcome).  It would be nice to have a special place to announce stuff like this so local people and maybe even people who are traveling can "come on down" and make some new friends.  If you do have a specific place for such announcements, please let me know.

You can post your group under the advocacy section.  Also the front page of IHD is out of date because after the owner (Epoman) passed away we lost access to some area's and that is one of them. In the future we do plan on addressing these issues.

Are your pictures saved as a .jpg, jpeg, gif, bmp file? JPG, JPEG, PNG, BMP, GIF are file formats for pictures, each are technically different, ut .jpg is the most common.
What you can do is if the file is saved to your computer, go to it, right click on it and choose rename. If it has the .doc and it is a picture, delete the doc portion of the name and enter jpg. Make sure you have the. between the name of the file and the jpg file format.

Unfortunately I tried to rename a couple files you posted and still could not convert them. Tried various programs to open the file before and after changing, but still could not get the image to show. Can you see them on your computer?

I can see them on my computer
when I click doc
it will come on and the pics may take a little longer but they will appear

You said they were from a website, so I am thinking that there is a website tag on it which will not transfer to here. I can try to make a Word doc with pictures and arrows for a step by step procedure on how to save a photo from a webpage. Gonna take a few days. I still have to make a CD for Patton. But my redoing internet access around the home project is done now, so more time.
