Hello from Pittsburgh
«
on:
June 22, 2007, 09:03:41 PM »
I am 42 living in Pittsburgh. A year this week since I have been on dialysis. I am a drummer in a metal band I work a full time job and will not let this beat me. I have a great support network of friends and family that have been with me through it all and I am grateful. But sometimes I need to interact with others who know first hand what it's like to feel like crap after too much fluid is pulled. Or a infiltration. Or annoying staff. You get the idea
Thanks for letting me join

HI Foundry,
Welcome......glad you came to join us. We are a mad bunch but we do understand so you will find some great support here. I have had a horrendous six months and couldn't have gotten through it nearly as well if it wasn't for the support here. Doesn't matter when you get on here, there is usually some one around so it is very comforting. You'll be a member of the gang in no time. xxxx

Hello foundry,
Welcome to I hate dialysis. We are all like family here and have members worldwide. I love music and even though metal is not my choice of genre I do have an appreciation for those that play an instrument. I like your attitude as well.
Again welcome and I look forward to your posts. See you in the forums.
