A SICK pensioner was charged £120 by budget airline easyJet to take his DIALYSIS machine on a holiday jet.
Sid Glassberg, 77, has to be hooked up for eight hours a day after suffering kidney failure.
But the machine put him over his luggage allowance — and an easyJet jobsworth refused to let him on to a flight from London Stansted to Malaga, Spain, until he had coughed up the excess baggage fee.
Sid, of Clayhall, Essex, said: “I couldn’t believe it. I had two hospital letters with me stating that I’m a kidney sufferer who needs dialysis.”
Last night an easyJet spokesman said: “We apologise and will be refunding the £120.”
