Was thinking of a large box of quality chocolates that could be left at the front desk and shared. any other ideas?

When I was leaving a Thank You gift, either at Christmas or when my late mum had been in hospital, I never went for chocolates... The nurses told me that they were fed up with chocolate because lots of people gave it to them... In fact, they told me that lots of them went into the bin, because they couldn't even share it with patients due to the high Potassium and Phosphorus content...

I used to buy a load of little tubes of hand creams, and put them into a little basket... The travel size are great because they easily fit into a uniform pocket... Because nurses are always washing their hands, and using alcohol gel, the skin on their hands gets quite dry...

They always said that they really appreciated something a bit different, and they loved seeing the little basket on the desk!...

As theres 20+ nurses making little gift baskets for each of them seems like a daunting challenge..

Hi Jambo...

Sorry, I should have made myself clearer.... I would put a load of little tubes of hand cream into ONE basket, or box, and leave it there on the desk!... I used to go to the local Two Euro store in Dublin... Not only was it cheaper, but you can get a bigger variety of the little tubes of cream that they seem to love to have in a Uniform Pocket...

Hope I've cleared that up!!!...

Always went for fruit! They get enough chocolate, and its healthier for them! :)

This year I found little flashlights for staff members to put on their key chains. 
Patients will get the typical treat bag I make every years with snacks and an ornament in it.

I spend every weekend with my Wife in the Nursing Home.

I stop at the corner gas station mini-market and get a 4 cup carrier of large coffee's for the Nurses.

I also get a bag of Reseins and a bag of Werthers.  Reisens are a soft caramel with a dark chocolate coating, the Werthers or the opposite, a soft caramel with a liquid chocolate center, the girls LOVE them both.

The facility has an area they call a 'Couontry Kitchen' available to visitors/family.  I am guilty of using it. I've baked a salmon covered on bacon, lemons and onions.  A small bit for Wife and I and Staff got to enjoy the rest.

I have brought a couple buckets of fried chicken.

I am thinking about a pork roast with brown sugar, cinnamon and  red delicious apples.

They eat too much pizza.

These Ladies take good care of my Wife, I'd do most anything for them.

I couldn't tell you how many times I've made runs to Sonic for Lemonaides, Ice Teas, etc.

As our renal staff is small, I bake a loaf of cranberry quick bread for the group to share.
