Wondering if anybody has been on the dialysis forum on reddit?  If so, what did you think of it?

I read there frequently and post occasionally. I have it on my news reader so I see threads when they're first posted.  It seems that most posts are 'what can I do' type by those facing dialysis or -frequently- a family member or partner.

The timeline-style of the threads there put it at a disadvantage vs. the forum style.  Questions and answers get pushed down the page and don't tend to go very long.  It's more of a 'transient' nature.  The lack of Categories also hurts.

I can see the lack of categories hurting it, and the timeline thing sounds like it could be a problem.  However having all these little forums under some sort of central command looks like it could be a good idea.  Might help single or a few administrators tired of dealing with all the issues of a site - I know about that one!  Got tired of deleting spammers back in the day, looks like nowadays though there is this anti-spam software.
